Every member of our team lives in a different city, and we all bring a different set of experience and talent to the table. When we combine these factors, our work has a distinctive creative stamp.

Johann Marron

As Studio Grafo’s principal, Johann oversees the collaborative flow of work among all members of the team and leads the design/creative aspect of every project. He started his career in the creative field, working at some of the most recognized advertising agencies—Grey and Leo Burnett, among others—before jumping to the “client side,” where he spent many years in marketing, marketing communications, and advertising.

After winning several awards in recognition of his outstanding talent, including a New York Festival Award for best Institutional Campaign, Johann founded Studio Grafo in 2003 to fill a need for credible and high-quality design/advertising firms to serve small to medium-size businesses. For the past seven years, Studio Grafo has completed projects for more than 150 local and regional businesses in the US, Europe, Latin America, and Asia.

Johann also acts as a marketing communications consultant for companies based in the US.

He lives with his wife outside Washington, D.C.
